Jackson Photography made our fairy tale wedding one that we will remember forever! They were great to work with, and really turned my ideas into perfect pictures! I loved the variety of classic as well as more modern photographs that they took. My favorite things are the beautiful canvas (now hanging in our room) and the amazing album on our coffee table that guests love to look at. When I look back at our wedding days in years to come, I will vividly remember each special moment thanks to our wonderful pictures from our friends at Jackson Photography!

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding day was hiring Jackson Photography. They were so professional, helpful, and skilled both during all the planning ahead of time, and during the big day. Maggie helped so much beforehand with all planning and making sure we covered everything. It was so reassuring to me to be able to trust our photographers completely instead of having to rely on my own knowledge of which photos to take, which shots to make sure to get, and which people to gather together. Maggie planned all of that flawlessly, and was available to answer questions quickly through email all the time, which is invaluable when you're planning and need quick help in order to get something done. I cannot stress enough how important it is to be able to trust your vendors, such as your photographer completely, as you'll be busy with other things during your wedding weekend, and I certainly did trust Maggie and Shawn completely! On our wedding day, Shawn got all the important shots, and both of them efficiently got all our family and wedding party together for the group pictures we needed without stressing us out in the slightest. We were free to enjoy our time socializing, tasting appetizers, and relying on Jackson Photography to get the hard stuff done :) such a relief! And last but certainly not least, the photos were just fantastic. There was a mix of formals, candids, and artistic shots that really gave us a variety of pictures to give away to family, put in frames, or just keep in a beautiful album for a smile later. Their packages are reasonable and the photo album they helped us with afterward is so gorgeous, exactly what I wanted. I especially love the photo collage page with fun shots from our reception! What else can I say, besides that I would highly recommend to everyone I know to hire Jackson Photography for their own wedding, party or other important event - you will be so happy working with them, and completely satisfied with their work!

When the temperature is below zero up here in Minneapolis and the snow is falling- bringing out our wedding photos helps brighten our day. Our friends and family thought we went a little overboard in how many photos we ordered but honestly it was impossible to edit! We were extremely fortunate when, in the midst of planning a small tropical island wedding with our daughter and her (now) husband, friends graciously recommended we consider Shawn Jackson as our photographer. After reviewing some of his gorgeous island photographs, we were very interested and, after meeting Shawn, we knew we made the right decision. Shawn was very accommodating, especially given that we didn't know until fairly late where on the island the wedding would take place. He worked very well with us, suggesting potential locations and settings. At the evening wedding, Shawn was very unobtrusive and worked quickly. He became, in effect, one of the celebrants and captured some perfect unguarded pictures.
One never quite remembers all the joyous parts of a celebration like a wedding. However, the pictures that Shawn has taken have provided us with a glorious record of that perfect evening with the sun setting over Roatan. And, truth be told, even the "old folks" look pretty darn good! Now, if Shawn could make us look that happy all the time, he would be a magician.
